Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using RunTribe Connect ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RunTribe Connect. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Description of Service

RunTribe Connect is a digital platform that connects runners worldwide, enabling them to share their running experiences, track progress, discover routes, participate in community activities, and engage with fellow athletes. Our services include but are not limited to:

• User profile creation and management
• Running data tracking and analytics
• Route sharing and discovery
• Community features including groups, challenges, and social interactions
• Content sharing including photos, achievements, and running logs
• Training resources and educational content

User Accounts and Registration

Account Creation

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Platform. You may not create an account if you are prohibited from receiving our services under applicable laws.

User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree to use the Platform in a lawful, respectful, and responsible manner. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform or other accounts

User Content

Content Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you post, upload, or share on the Platform ("User Content"). However, by posting User Content, you grant RunTribe Connect a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to post the User Content
• Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights
• Your User Content is accurate and not misleading
• Your User Content complies with these Terms and applicable laws

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, edit, remove, or refuse to post any User Content at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to monitor User Content but may do so to ensure compliance with these Terms and to maintain a positive community environment.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by RunTribe Connect and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.

The RunTribe Connect name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of RunTribe Connect. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Service Availability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

Health and Safety Disclaimer

RunTribe Connect is a social and informational platform. We are not a medical or fitness service provider. The content on our Platform, including training advice, routes, and community discussions, is for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical or professional advice. Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals before beginning any exercise program or making changes to your fitness routine.

You acknowledge that running and physical activity involve inherent risks. You assume full responsibility for your safety and well-being when participating in activities suggested or discussed on the Platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RunTribe Connect and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RunTribe Connect and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your User Content

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Requests by law enforcement or government agencies

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If such negotiations are unsuccessful, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
